Terms of Use
These Terms of Use form the agreement between you and Holy Apps Studio for two iOS applications: Bible for Kids (published as “Bible • Stories & Games”) and Bedtime Stories (published as “Little Stories”). Please read them before downloading or subscribing. By installing or using either app, you accept these terms.

1. Who these terms apply to
Both applications are made for children but are downloaded, paid for and managed by adults. If you are under 18, you may use the apps only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and that adult accepts these terms on your behalf. The person who owns the Apple ID used for a purchase is responsible for it.
These terms are between you and Holy Apps Studio only. Apple is not a party to them, although Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries with the right to enforce them against you.
2. Licence to use the apps
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Bible for Kids and Bedtime Stories on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for private, non-commercial family use, in accordance with Apple’s Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
- copy, sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the apps or their stories, illustrations, narration or audio;
- extract assets from the apps, or use our stories, artwork or recordings in another product, video, broadcast or publication;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the apps except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
- circumvent the parental gate, the subscription check or any other technical protection;
- use the apps in a nursery, school, church or other institution as part of a paid service without our written permission.
3. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Each app offers free content plus an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full library. The exact price, currency, billing period and free-trial length are always displayed on the purchase screen inside the app and on the App Store product page before you confirm, and they may differ between apps, countries and promotions.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price then in effect for your plan.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription to the same app.
- A subscription to one app does not unlock content in the other; the two applications are sold separately.
We may change subscription prices. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Apple will notify you and ask for your consent before charging an increased price on renewal.
4. How to cancel
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us — we cannot cancel one on your behalf. To turn off auto-renewal on your device:
- open Settings on the iPhone or iPad;
- tap your name at the top of the screen, then Subscriptions;
- choose Bible • Stories & Games or Little Stories;
- tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Cancelling stops future charges. Paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and unlocked content stays available until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
5. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service. Requests are made at reportaproblem.apple.com. Statutory rights of withdrawal that apply in your country are unaffected by this clause. If Apple declines a request that you believe was justified, write to us at kallumdanielbrooks@icloud.com and we will do what we can to help.
6. Restoring purchases
If you reinstall an app or move to a new device, open the app, pass the parental gate and choose Restore Purchases. The app asks Apple to re-deliver the entitlement attached to the Apple ID signed in on that device. Purchases can only be restored to the Apple ID that made them.
7. Intellectual property
All content in both applications — the retold stories, illustrations, character designs, animations, narration, music, sound effects, interface design, icons and source code — is owned by Holy Apps Studio or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. The names Bible for Kids, Bible • Stories & Games, Bedtime Stories and Little Stories, together with our logos, are our marks.
Biblical texts retold in Bible for Kids are our own adaptations written for young readers; the traditional tales in Bedtime Stories are either original works or our own retellings of stories in the public domain. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you — the apps are licensed, not sold.
8. Privacy
Neither app collects personal data. What each one stores locally, and how purchases are handled by Apple, is described in the Bible for Kids Privacy Policy and the Bedtime Stories Privacy Policy, which form part of this agreement.
9. Availability and changes to the apps
We work to keep both apps running on currently supported versions of iOS and iPadOS, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, alter or remove stories, games, sounds and features; we may end support for older devices or operating-system versions; and we may discontinue an app entirely. If an app is withdrawn while you hold an active subscription, we will ask Apple to stop further billing and you may request a refund for the unused part of your current period.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The applications are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
The apps are entertainment and educational software; they are not a substitute for parental supervision, for religious instruction or for medical or psychological advice about a child’s sleep. Adults remain responsible for supervising screen time and device use.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Holy Apps Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the apps.
Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the apps is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us or Apple for the app in question during the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) ten US dollars. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud; if your country grants consumer rights that these terms may not restrict, those rights prevail.
12. Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by cancelling any subscription and deleting the apps. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms — for example by redistributing our content or defeating the parental gate. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the apps evolve or the law changes. The current version always appears on this page with its revision date at the top. Continuing to use an app after an update is published means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, please stop using the apps and cancel any subscription.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms, about a subscription or about either application go to kallumdanielbrooks@icloud.com. You can also use the form on our support page; we reply within 2 business days.
